Back Home Again....

Ethan and I made it safely home. We had a great time visiting all the family. Grandma Kathi was an excellent hostess. I know Ethan enjoyed having someone else to play with. I think he gets bored of just hanging out with me! Now we are just waiting for Erin to come visit. We are going to have a great time. Then we will head to Flathead Lake to our cabin. I am hoping to keep busy so the time will go by fast. I just cannot wait for Jesse to come home. I sure hope he makes it for the wedding!! Jesse is doing well. He is hot, but that is to be expected. He is keeping busy too! Thanks again for having us Kathi -- we really appreciate it!

Just wish Jesse could be here. I am sure we will have a great time. I am interested in seeing how Ethan is on the plane since he is a little older. We'll see!!

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY JESSE!!

Well, I can't believe Jesse is 30 years old today. Wow, old man river. :) Just teasing honey. It is pretty amazing all the things you have accomplished in your life already. I remember when we first met and you said you wanted children by the time you were 30. I recall thinking "ok, you must plan on having them with someone else then!" Funny how a year can change you! You have a beautiful son, a great job, an amazing family -- I couldn't be more proud of you!! I know you probably won't enjoy spending your 30th in the hot desert, but we'll make up for it when you come home. We have many more birthdays to celebrate together. Know that everyone loves you and is thinking of you on your special day!!! Ethan and I love and miss you very much sweetie!!

Happy 4th of July! Posted by Picasa

Happy 4th of July!

As we all celebrate this 4th of July weekend, take a moment to remember and honor those who have fought to protect our freedom and independence. Thank you to all the soldiers, past and present. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have anything to celebrate. I love you Jesse. Thank you for everything you do. Your son and I are extremely proud of you. We will be thinking of you on this day. Love you.
